The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren is a great study book. Our church is currently reading through and studying it together at our gatherings. 

While having a hard copy Bible is great, it is also very convenient to have it on our devices that we use throughout the day! In addition to being able to read God's Word, we can choose our version & language, jump to certain scriptures, use study or read-through plans and share with friends, and set reminders to read and daily verses!

Sometimes it is nice to see what you are reading about. If you love comic books, this is a great Bible to read through!

Watching a reenactment of Jesus' life helps bring imagery and setting to what we read in The New Testament. Our Youth group is currently watching this series.

The Bible is available in many different versions, languages, and styles. Pocket size, larger size, study Bibles with places for notes or studies, etc. God's Word is the best guide we have for life- and essential for salvation. If you do not have one, they are sold at most bookstores or we can help you get one.

In 2024, our church read through The Story together in services, devotionals, and Bible classes of all ages! The Story is an abridged, chronological Bible that reads like a novel. The Scripture segments are woven together with transition text into a single narrative. For those overwhelmed by the unabridged Bible, The Story helps to understand God’s Word more fully and engage with it more easily. 

The Passion of the Christ is a movie showing parts of Jesus' life and focusing on His resurrection. Reading about the sacrifice He made for us is one thing, but seeing a representation of it is very powerful and brings more emotion to when we read it in scripture.
