Outreach Programs

The church has events for those who remain young at heart regardless of age! Dinners, board/card game nights, retreats, and other events have been a blast! See Vernon Higginson for questions.

MCCOC has made visits to the nursing homes in Mt. Carmel to serve communion, give a devotional, read scripture, and sing with residents!

For several years we have hosted an after school tutoring program for 3rd through 6th graders from Mt. Carmel one afternoon each week. We have some food, study time, a devotional, and other activities! See Leah Sellers for details.

MCCOC hosts various events throughout the year such as a breakfast for the Mt. Carmel football team and an ice cream social for the Wabash Valley College athletes. The community is also invited to events such as trivia nights, the church chowder, and more!

MCCOC helps with various donations and works throughout the year such as a back to school supplies donation and helping with construction projects at people's homes.
