Our Vision

Our vision for the Mt. Carmel Church of Christ is that every member, every day, in everything, is engaged in the growth of God's Kingdom; regardless of age, talent, or position. We seek to grow in faith, in hope, and in love. We strive to teach our neighbors, our communities, and our world about Jesus our King. We commit to praying and working to be a part of God's rescue. We strive to do what we are able to do, to reach all people with God's love and eagerly welcome each other into His Kingdom.

About Mt Carmel Church of Christ

What We Believe

We believe that Jesus is Lord, Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah, the Savior of the world, God's only Son. We believe that Jesus is the only way to the Father, the only way for salvation.

We believe that the Bible is God's inspired Word and that it has all authority. We believe God's Word is our guide, a light for our path, it is our only creed, and our only doctrine.

We believe the Holy Spirit is given to us when we are buried into Christ's death. The Holy Spirit also guides us into all truth, helping us understand God's Word, that He also convicts us of sin and comforts us in troubles, and that the Holy Spirit identifies us as God's children and prompts us to call out to our Father.

We believe the Gospel is for all and that Gospel is the Death, Burial, and Resurrection of Jesus. Our calling to obey the gospel is a call to die to sin itself, be immersed as buried into Christ's death and raised to live a new life as God's children.

We believe we are called to the obedience of faith and to remain faithful and obedient until death.
