MINISTRIES

Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as washing the church vehicles, to preparing the church bulletins.

Ministry Outreach

MCCOC is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom around the world. We are active in sending and supporting missionaries with our money and with our prayers. We support local outreach efforts, including school ministry, as well as mission efforts located in Ukraine, India, Mexico, and Thailand, as well as Gospel Chariot Ministries in many African countries and medical missions in Central America.

MC After School

We connect with our local school district to offer tutoring and mentoring services to students, with homework help, after school snack, life skills, and game time together. We are excited to offer this program again this year!

Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in video and audio formats. We also maintain an active Facebook and Instagram feed for additional church communication.

Music & Drama

God-honoring worship is something we take time for each time we meet, through praise, songs and prayers. Some church members get involved in our music ministry, through song-leading, special occasion worship team, and behind-the-scenes tech/stage crew. We also use seasonal dramas, including a Christmas program, to connect with the community. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

Prayer Warriors

Prayer cannot be overestimated. We believe prayer moves the hand of God and allows us to partner with his plans. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Sunday during the morning service, a team of volunteers prays for the ministry of the Word. Throughout the week, our Prayer Warriors pray for our church leaders, a list of church members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs.
